GRILLED BOURBON-PUMPKIN SPICE PEACHES

Sometimes it’s ok to gild the lily. Elevate your ripe peaches with warm pumpkin pie spices and brown sugar bourbon goodness.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon bourbon

  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

  • 3 shakes pumpkin pie spice

  • 3 shakes cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Heat grill to medium

  2. Slice peaches in half, remove pitt

  3. Mix together butter, bourbon, sugar and spices

  4. Brush half of butter mixture over cut side of peaches

  5. Place peaches cut side down on grill, cook for 5-7 minutes (will depend on ripeness of peaches)

  6. Once you have char marks and the sides of the peaches give a little (don’t stick), flip and brush remaining butter mixture over cut side of peaches again

  7. Cook for additional 4-7 minutes, remove peaches before they get mushy

  8. Serve peaches, ice cream optional
