This hearty oatmeal breakfast will give you the energy you need to get through the morning while packing a mix of powerhouse ingredients (hello antioxidants!). This recipe is great if you're trying to clean up your diet, but yummy enough to eat even if you're not.


  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal/hot cereal
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup pear, chopped
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • Agave to taste, if desired


  1. Prepare oatmeal according to package directions, replacing water with almond milk
  2. Top with fruit and walnuts

Serves 1.
